Scottish broadcaster, journalist and comedian Tam Cowan has announced his first-ever Scottish tour, bringing his unmistakable wit, sharp observations and decades of stories from the heart of Scottish media to live audiences across the country

But for Tam the tour – which is long overdue – can’t come quick enough. He said: “I’m absolutely thrilled to going out on the first tour of my career. What a great opportunity to have a laugh, a joke and a carry-on with all the people who’ve been listening to my guff for the past three decades. I cannae wait.”

Best known as the long-standing host of BBC Radio Scotland’s Off The Ball, and as the host of his monthly Aff The Baw comedy show – at Blackfriars in Glasgow, Tam Cowan is one of Scotland’s most recognisable and respected voices.

“My favourite funny columnist… love him to bits… but I must give him some fashion tips!”
Sir Rod Stewart

Over a career spanning more than four decades, he has built a devoted following through broadcasting, journalism, bestselling books and live events — and now, for the first time, he is taking a full live show on the road.

The tour will see Cowan visit venues across Scotland, offering audiences an evening of comedy, storytelling and behind-the-scenes insight from a life spent at the centre of Scottish sport, culture and broadcasting. Expect trademark humour, candid reflections, and the kind of stories that have made Cowan a household name.

“A national treasure.”
Hollywood actor Alan Cumming

“Very funny… perhaps not the ideal night out for a first date.”
Football great Gordon Strachan

“It’s the first time in two years that I can say I’m glad to be living in America…”
Bellshill-born Professor Sir David MacMillan, Nobel Laureate.
