Scottish Ensemble brings the light with Concerts for a Summer’s Night
Concerts for a Summer’s Night returns later this year, with Scottish Ensemble once again set to bring a centuries-spanning repertoire of music to five radiant venues across Scotland.
A staple of Scottish Ensemble’s seasons, the tour is a celebration of light, rhythm and connection in the glow of the Summer sun. Five evening performances take place in striking light-filled spaces, including some of the country’s most stunning art galleries and museums.
The tour will visit Strathpeffer Pavillion, Aberdeen Art Gallery, Dundee V&A, Edinburgh’s National Museum of Scotland, and Glasgow’s Kelvingrove Art Gallery and Museum from 16 to 20 June 2026.
From the shimmering beauty of Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky and Max Bruch to the bold voices of Isobel Waller-Bridge, Bryce Dessner and Oliver Leith, the vibrant musical programme moves effortlessly between centuries and continents. Strings pulse, melodies sing, and every note shimmers with the warmth of summer.
Join Scottish Ensemble for an evening of radiant sound and playful contrasts with music to stir the senses and lift the spirit.
Tickets range from £13 – £25 and are free for under 16s. Tickets are available from scottishensemble.co.uk/programme/2025-26/concerts-for-a-summers-night-2026
