Scotland’s national dance company Scottish Ballet are pleased to announce Loganair will be 2018-2019 official partners of their upcoming tour of Matthew Bourne’s Highland Fling as official airline sponsors.
Loganair, the only airline based and owned in Scotland, will be supporting the company by flying Scottish Ballet dancers and touring team across Shetland, Orkney and Lewis with specially chartered flights throughout April and May 2018. This is the first time Scottish Ballet has toured a full-scale production to such remote locations and the commercial support of Loganair ensures performances of this romantic wee ballet can be enjoyed by local communities across Scotland.
Pictured on board one of Loganair’s planes based at Glasgow Airport are (clockwise from top left) principal dancers Sophie Martin and Christopher Harrison, with artists Jamie Reid and Amy McEntee (correct). Christopher, Jamie and Amy all live in Glasgow. Sophie, Jamie and Amy play the parts of ’sylphs’, or mischievous fairies.
