NEWS: F**K TINDER COMES TO GLASGOW

Say goodbye to swiping right – a new comedy night hopes to put the fun back into the Glasgow dating scene.

f**k tinder is an innovative new event by Award-nominated comedian Chris Henry, hosted at popular Woodlands Road bar, Dram.

f**k tinder has already been a sell-out across Scotland and Australia, and now returns to Glasgow to help a new batch of hapless singletons.

After becoming tired of the dating app culture, Chris decided to create a comedy night exclusively for single people, where awkward conversation is avoided by having a team of some of Glasgow’s top comedians on hand to entertain throughout the night.

This is speed dating with a difference. Groups of single men and women participate in different rounds, including a pub quiz, a chat up line challenge and discussing your worst valentines gifts. After each round, men switch tables, so singles have a chance to chat with everyone. Chris Henry will be on hand to play wingman throughout the night and introduce the evening’s entertainment.

With recent research showing men find a match on Tinder a measly 0.6% of the time, f**k tinder offers a chance for men to put the odds back in their favour.

Event creator, Chris Henry, says: “f**k tinder reverses all the statistics. You get to meet 100% of potential matches face-to-face, then you can let your personality shine through rather than hope you’re photogenic enough to get a right swipe.

“This isn’t outdated speed dating. This isn’t going to be dull, and it won’t be like anything you’ve ever experienced before. This is the only comedy experience exclusively for single people.”

f**k tinder will host its next events in Glasgow on 2 November at Dram. Tickets cost £20 and are available from bookitbee.

f**k tinder is the creation of Glaswegian comedian Chris Henry, Perth Fringe World award nominee and Scottish comedian of the year finalist. Previous show locations have included Glasgow, Edinburgh, Aberdeen, Perth, Melbourne and Singapore.
