New Musical Talent – The Composers, Tim Prottey-Jones
Since featuring Laura Tisdall’s new musical The In-between last week. Here’s the first in a series of features on new, musical talent. First up it’s the composers…
Birmingham-based Tim Prottey-Jones, an experienced professional guitarist, drummer and vocalist with a music degree from the University of Wolverhampton, is a young composer who blends musical theatre with an exciting pop/rock edge. The tracks on his two albums consist of songs drawn from two musicals he is developing with co-librettist/lyricist Robert Gould – After The Turn and Once Bitten.
‘More with every line was released in December 2010 and has received acclaim for its individuality and foresight from fans and critics alike. Every song on the album features vocals by actors who have played lead roles in Broadway or West End musicals.
